How ZiyarahCheck works
Four steps, and the fourth is the one people ask about.
A zair writes a review
Five marks — the hotel, the transport, the food, the programme, and honesty about what was promised.
We ask for proof afterwards
Every review is read by a person before it goes up, in the zair's own words. A private link follows, requesting proof of the trip — a booking, a payment or a boarding pass.
Never shown publicly. Sending it is optional. Deleted 90 days after a decision, or 90 days after it arrives if there is none.
A person checks it
A moderator reads it for the group’s name and the trip dates. Identity is never checked.
UnverifiedVerified travellerVerified means they went — not who they are.
A score appears at 3
No group gets a score until 3 verified reviews exist — so one planted review cannot define a small karwan.
3 of 3 verified reviews
4.0out of 5
An example. No group is named here.
You can review under a first name, initials or a handle — you choose. The group never needs to know who you are. All we ask you to show us is that you travelled, and we never pass your identity to an operator.
Been on Ziyarah?
Two minutes on the group you travelled with — the hotels, the transport, the care — and the next zair chooses with their eyes open.
