ZiyarahCheck

Terms of use

Effective 30 September 2026. These terms are the agreement between you and WEBNFLIX LIMITED for your use of ziyarahcheck.com. Please read them with our review guidelines, which form part of them, and our privacy policy.

1. Who we are

ZiyarahCheck is operated by WEBNFLIX LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales under number 15937416, whose registered office is Downton House, South Kilworth Road, Welford, Northampton, NN6 6HH. You can contact us at privacy@ziyarahcheck.com.

2. What ZiyarahCheck is, and what it is not

ZiyarahCheck publishes reviews written by members of the public about Ziyarah tour operators, and information about those operators gathered from public sources and from submissions.

We are independent of every operator listed. We do not sell trips, take commission, or accept payment for a listing, a rating or a position in search results. An operator appearing here has not asked to be listed and cannot pay to be removed.

We do not endorse any operator. A rating reflects what reviewers said, weighted by how well their trips were evidenced. Our “Verified traveller” label means we saw evidence that a person travelled — not that we vouch for the operator, and not that we have checked any licence, insurance or financial protection an operator claims to hold. Check those directly with the operator and the relevant authority before you book.

Choosing a tour operator is your decision. We provide information to help you make it; we do not make it for you and we are not party to any contract between you and an operator.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or over to create an account. You may hold one account, and you are responsible for what is done through it. Give us an email address you control — we use it to verify who you are and to contact you about your own submissions.

You may close your account at any time by writing to us. Closing it does not automatically remove reviews you have published; ask us and we will discuss what happens to them.

4. What you may and may not post

Our review guidelines set out what we publish, what we remove, and what happens to an account that breaks the rules. They form part of these terms. In summary, and without limiting them, you must not post anything that is untrue, that describes a trip you did not take, that is written for or against a business you are connected to, that you were paid or rewarded to write, that identifies a private individual, that is abusive or discriminatory, or that is unlawful.

You must not misuse the service: no automated scraping or bulk collection of the site, no attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, no interference with how the site runs, and no creating a second account to evade a restriction.

5. Your content, and the permission you give us

You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting a review, a response, a correction or a suggestion, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish, store, reproduce and display it on ZiyarahCheck and in material promoting it, and to make minor edits for length, clarity or to comply with these terms or the law. This licence continues for as long as the content is published, so that removing your account does not silently rewrite the record other people have relied on.

You confirm that what you submit is your own, is honest, and is a genuine account of your own experience.

Travel evidence is different. It is sent after a review is published, at our invitation and at your option. It is seen only by a moderator, is never published, and is deleted 90 days after we decide whether it supports the Verified traveller tick, or 90 days after we receive it if no decision is made. Where an operator has formally disputed the review, it is kept until the dispute is resolved and deleted 90 days after that. See our privacy policy.

6. Operators and claimed listings

If you claim an operator listing, you confirm you are authorised to act for that operator. Claiming lets you reply publicly to reviews and raise a dispute; it does not let you edit, hide or remove reviews, and it does not change your rating. We may revoke a claim at any time if we are not satisfied it is genuine.

Operators may not offer anything to a reviewer in exchange for writing, changing or removing a review. Where we find this has happened we may remove the affected reviews, mark the listing, or both.

7. Moderation, removal and suspension

We may remove or hide content, and restrict or close an account, where we reasonably believe these terms or the guidelines have been broken, or where we are required to by law. We will tell you what we decided and why, and you may appeal to us.

Anyone can report a review, with or without an account. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours. The full process, including how we handle a complaint that a review is defamatory, is set out in the guidelines.

8. Availability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors, and we may change or withdraw features. This is a young service run by a small team.

9. Our responsibility to you

Reviews are the opinions and accounts of the people who wrote them, not statements by us. We do not verify every factual claim in a review, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of what reviewers or operators say.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in them affects your rights as a consumer under UK law.

Subject to that: we are not liable for any loss arising from your dealings with a tour operator, for any decision you make on the basis of what you read here, or for loss of profit, business or opportunity. Our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to £100. The service is provided free of charge, and this limit reflects that.

10. If you disagree with us

Please contact us first at privacy@ziyarahcheck.com — most things are resolved that way. For complaints about how we handle personal data you may also contact the Information Commissioner's Office.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will post the new version here and update the effective date, and we will give notice on the site before a significant change takes effect. Continuing to use ZiyarahCheck after that means you accept the change.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
